How we check licences in Singapore
Outpatient medical services need a Healthcare Services Act licence, so the clinic must be found in MOH's list of licensed providers.
How we check licences| Register | Confirms |
|---|---|
| Licensed healthcare providers (Ministry of Health, via HealthHub) | A facility licence or registration |
| Singapore Medical Council register (MOH Professional Registration System) | A doctor's registration |
Stem cell therapy: In Singapore, cell, tissue and gene therapy products need notification or registration with the Health Sciences Authority. Health Sciences Authority
Checking a licence in Singapore
- The clinic: the Ministry of Health says HealthHub lists every licensed healthcare service provider in Singapore.
- The doctor: the Singapore Medical Council register can be searched by full name, part of a name or medical registration number. Doctors without a valid practising certificate do not appear in it.
Prices and GST
Some clinics we list in Singapore publish prices before the goods and services tax (GST), which has been 9% since 1 January 2024 (checked 18 Oct 2026). Our clinic reports show whether each price includes tax, where the clinic says so.
Planning your stay
- A short visit: ask when each result will be ready, and book early in the trip so the follow-up consultation happens before you leave.
- A longer programme: most of the follow-up happens after you go home. Ask how it is done from abroad, and whether the clinic will send reports to your own doctor.
- Records: take your results home in English, and send them to your own doctor (CDC).
